Year 6 were transported back to the time of the Second World War. We were evacuated on a steam train from Winchcombe station and were lucky enough to spend time talking to real life evacuees, who kindly shared their experiences with us. We also survived a real air raid and spent time in a bomb shelter. We learnt how to put out fires and were given jobs on the farm. We were reunited finally with our loved ones at the end of a super day!
Thank you to the children who all behaved beautifully and a big thank you to the volunteers of the GWR.
