Some of our school cricket club members recently represented us at the Year 5 Cricket Tournament, held at Woodmancote Playing Fields on Friday 12th June. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with sunshine, great cricket, and team spirit.
All of the players performed brilliantly, confidently showcasing their bowling, batting, and fielding skills throughout the tournament. Most importantly, they represented our school with enthusiasm and pride, and it was fantastic to see how much they enjoyed the experience.
A big well done to: Sienna, Beau, Freddie, Jack, Eleanor, Antony, Henry, Charlie, and Krish
for their excellent effort and particularly for playing with such positive attitudes.
We are delighted to be able to give nearly all of our club members the opportunity to take part in competitive matches this year.
A special mention goes to Sienna, who was awarded a medal for her outstanding fielding performance—alongside some impressive bowling and batting.
Finally, thank you to all the parents for providing transport and for staying to support the team throughout the afternoon.
