The past two Thursday and Friday evenings have seen the final races of the Cross-Country season take place at Ashley Manor Prep School.

Our Key Stage 2 runners took part in the toughest race to date with the infamous dreaded hill! All four races were particularly fast, and our runners showed sheer grit and determination in a sea of over 100 runners in each race.

For our Year 6s, this was their final primary school Cross-country race, some of whom have participated since they were in year 3 - so huge congratulations. Also, a special mention and congratulations needs to go to Harriet Maslin, who placed 9^th in this final race and 5^th across the district, qualifying to represent Cheltenham and District in the Gloucestershire Primary Schools' Cross-Country Championships. We are super proud of you all.

Thank you to all the parents who navigated tricky traffic and parking to get the children to their races on time! Cross-Country club will continue all year round in preparation for both next season and the Athletics at the Prince of Wales in the Summer.

We do not limit numbers and anyone in Year 3 or older is welcome to come along on a Thursday morning at 8am. It's a great way to start the day.
