On Friday 19th June, 44 of our KS2 children took part in the Prince of Wales Athletics competition, and it was a fantastic event.
The children competed across a variety of events, including sprints, long-distance races, throwing, long jump, and relays. Their determination, passion, and team spirit were evident throughout, with many pupils successfully reaching the finals. We are incredibly proud of every child who took part.
A special mention goes to our medal winners. Sienna L achieved silver in throwing, while Lissy, Harriet, Arabella, and Niamh earned bronze in the relay. Max T secured silver in the sprint, and Nathan, Eddie, Brooklyn, and Ruben also achieved bronze in their relay event. Lorena won gold in the sprint and, together with Olivia, Elsie, and Hazel, also achieved success in the relay.
A big thank you goes to all the parents for their support and encouragement, and to our wonderful staff who gave up their evening to help organise the team.
Well done to everyone involved—you should all be very proud!
