On Friday 20^th June, 42 KS2 children from Swindon Village Primary School, took part in an athletics competition at the Prince of Wales Stadium, run by Move-More.

Despite the heat, the children did extremely well. We had race winners, field and track medal winners, and lots of successes. We are so proud of how the children performed, whether they won a medal or not, the determination and passion to do their best was amazing to watch.

The added bonus is that our girls won the shield for coming 1^st overall in all the girl's events. Congratulations to them. 

Thank you to all the children who took part, parents for coming to support and to the staff who stayed to support and help with the organising. It was a great team effort.
