Key Stage Sports Day was a huge success. The weather was very good to us, even though there was a little rain when setting up, it didn’t spoil things.
The children were very well behaved and so enthusiastic during the activities and the races, and it was lovely to see so many parents supporting their children and giving encouragement. Thanks to all the staff for running the activities and organising the children for their races. We were short of help this year so some staff had to try and cover two activities, so thanks for your patience.
We hope everyone enjoyed taking part and helping their House gain as many points they could to try and win. It was clear to see that everyone definitely tried their best.
The overall Winner of the Key Stage Two House Cup was ‘Hatherley ‘well done to all those involved.
This year we also gave out our ‘Sports Values Awards’ straight after the track events and as this seemed to work so well, we will do this every year. The staff selected pupils from their year group who have shown these values over the school year. Congratulations to all the winners.
