Athletics Championships

A massive well done to all children involved in the District Athletics this year!  Finley, Kohan, Rowan, Emma, Jessalyn and Serena in Year 6, and Bernie and Sophie in Year 5 all did fantastically in the jumping and throwing events on Tuesday, with Serena doing especially well winning a silver medal for her incredible throwing!

Everyone at the Prince of Wales running events did very well too, giving every race their all:

Year 3: kaya, Leah, Jasmin, Keira, Amogh, Mitch, Jake and Albert.

Year 4: Alfie, Riley, Rueben, Tobias, Marie-Claire, Hatty, Lucy and Emily.

Year 5: Kai, Ellie, Riley, Adam, Jake, Sen, Bethany, Sophie, Alex and Emma.

Year 6: Serena, Jessalyn, Rosie, Emmah, Kohan, Barnaby, Alfie, Joe, Mia and Archie.

Especially well done to Hatty in Year 4, and Bethany and Riley in Year 5, who all qualified for the finals in their races!  well done to Barnaby as well, who received a certificate for the Sports Values Award - Self Belief; he kept sprinting as fast as he could to he very end in both of his races!

We are very proud of you all.
