January 2022 Update

During the cold and dull month of January our Garden of Hope teams have been weather proofing their pebbles, making wild bird feeders and chitting potatoes, which means putting potatoes in a dry place to sprout shoots ready for planting in our garden. We have also been very lucky to have had our Garden area fenced off, with the help of a parent from our school (Mr Smith), who gave up his time to do this. We are also fortunate to have the help of Mrs Ellis and Mrs Snow who support me and the groups immensely with their gardening knowledge.

We are planning to use old kiddies wellies for planting/fund raising; if anyone  has any old or grown out of wellies, Infant size only, they wish to donate then please drop them off at the office.

Many Thanks.

Mrs Brown and the Sunflower and Forget-me-not groups 😊

The Garden of Hope, which is an area in the school we are developing for bereaved pupils to use in school, has now been fenced off to create a more private area where flowers, plants, and vegetables will grow. One of our parents, Mr Lee Smith (Archie’s dad) very kindly donated his time to put this fence up for us. We can't thank him enough for helping us with this project.
