On Friday 1^st March 2024, SVPS boys’ Football A Team played a match away at Rowanfield Primary School.

What a great match it was! By half time SVPS were 3-2 down and then there was a hailstorm at half time, which didn't deter them. They came back fighting in the second half, with some amazing teamwork and a breathtaking goal by Archie, pulling it back and beating Rowanfield by 5-3 - what a comeback!  Isaac scored 2, Archie scored 2 and Liam 1.  At one point they were down to 6 players when Charlie had to come off for a bit with an ankle niggle, but soon returned. Harry was superb in goal, and Joshua and Rhys' strength on the pitch was clear to see.

Well done to: Harry, Rhys, Liam, Charlie, Archie, Isaac and Joshua - a great win and a great team effort. Thank you to parents for giving lifts and supporting and Miss Owen for supporting and managing the team pitch side. They couldn't do it without you.
