Kinball Festival

On Wednesday 8th December, 8 pupils from Year 5 took part in a Kinball Festival at Cleeve School. We entered two teams, following on from their kinball session they had in school in November. Both teams did extremely well and ended up in  the semi- finals, with team 2 progressing to the finals where they finished runners up overall. This sport depends on team work and tactical skills to win which they used to great affect. I know the children really enjoyed it and represented our school brilliantly. Unfortunately some Year 5 pupils were unable to go due to covid restrictions and there were last minute changes. I know they were disappointed not being able to go, but thanks to those who stepped in at the last minute and to the parents who gave lifts and stayed to support.

Well done to:

Team 1: Vesper, India, Jake and Kaleem

Team 2: Zara, Nelna, Evan and James

We are extremely proud of your determination, self-belief and confidence that increased with each match.
